The aim of this study is to determine the level of use of information technologies in the audit activities and the role of the use of these tools in audit processes and activities. In this context, various comparisons were made using Independent Sample T-Test and Paired Sample T-Test on the data collected by applying a questionnaire to the auditors in Kayseri. As a result of the study, no significant difference was found in the perceptions about the role of information technologies in audit between the auditors thought to be relatively close to information technologies or the auditors thought to be distant. However, the findings of the perception that the effect of information technologies on the achievement of the determined objectives related to the audit activities are more than the effect on the audit process were obtained.
