Three-phase voltage source space vector pulse width modulation based rectifiers are widely used in many industrial applications because of its high power factor, sinusoidal ac current and fast dynamic response. In this study, Simulation studies are realized by matlab/simulink package program for three-phase space vector pulse width modulation (SVPWM) based rectifier. PI controller and fuzzy-PI controller are firstly designed for this type converter and voltage of this AC/DC converter have been controlled. Both controllers are then compared and evaluated in terms of overshoot, rise time, settling time, power factor and total harmonic distortion (THD).
