Özet

The integration of robotaxis, equipped with autonomous driving technologies, has the potential to profoundly transform transport systems in the context of digitalizing cities. The increasing population density, traffic congestion, environmental sustainability pressures, and changing user expectations reveal the inadequacy of traditional transport structures and increase the interest in new-generation, artificial intelligence-based solutions. This study examines robotaxis technologies in the context of urban transport and comprehensively evaluates their operational, social, economic, and ethical dimensions. This evaluation is based on a literature review and existing application examples. The analyses conducted within the framework of factors such as user safety, data privacy, compliance with legal regulations, and service accessibility comparatively examined robotaxi systems implemented in different geographical regions. In this context, the present study proposes a multidimensional framework that will contribute to the development of sustainable and user-oriented urban transport policies in the future.
