Abstract

© 2022 Guseinov et al.In the title compound, C18H16ClNO2S, the thiazole ring subtends dihedral angles of 13.12 (14) and 43.79 (14) ° with the attached chlorophenyl and phenyl rings, respectively. In the crystal, C-Hπ interactions link the molecules, forming a three-dimensional network. The roles of the various intermolecular interactions were clarified by Hirshfeld surface analysis, which reveals that the most important contributions to the crystal packing are from HH (39.2%), HC/CH (25.2%), ClH/HCl (11.4%) and OH/HO (8.0%) contacts.
