Özet
An open-source SCARA robot design was selected for use in the study. This robot has been customised for the guide pulling operation, which is one of the manufacturing processes. It has thus been transformed into a task-oriented system. This robot, which has an open-source mechanical and control infrastructure, has been structurally examined, and a number of task-specific modifications have been planned. At the forefront of these modifications is the end-effector design. A significant portion of the robot was manufactured using additive manufacturing methods. This resulted in a new industrial robot prototype capable of drilling holes. In this context, the expected original value of this study is the ability of open-source robot platforms to bring low-cost and accessible research opportunities to the industrial sphere.
