The Russian Federation, which has been on the agenda of the whole world with its recent occupation of Ukraine, has managed to become one of the leading actors in the region and on a global scale, from the Principality of Moscow to the present day. The fact that the country is spread over a very wide geography has led to the fact that it is neighbor to countries such as Norway, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Belarus, Ukraine, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, China, Mongolia, and North Korea. political, cultural and many other aspects of these countries. Similarly, the Russian Federation has succeeded in influencing all these neighbors. Although this mutual interaction comes to the fore in terms of security today, living side by side with all these countries for centuries has also affected the Russian Federation in terms of administrative structure.
Son dönemde Ukrayna’yı işgal etmesiyle tüm dünyanın gündeminde olan
Rusya Federasyonu Moskova Knezliği’nden günümüze dek bulunduğu
bölgede ve küresel ölçekte başat aktörlerden birisi olmayı başarmıştır. Ülkenin
oldukça geniş bir coğrafyaya yayılmış olması Norveç, Finlandiya, Estonya,
Letonya, Litvanya, Polonya, Belarus, Ukrayna, Gürcistan, Azerbaycan,
Kazakistan, Çin, Moğolistan, Kuzey Kore gibi ülkelere komşu olmasını
doğurmuş bu da Rusya Federasyonu’nun ekonomik, sosyal, siyasi, kültürel
ve diğer pek çok açıdan bu ülkelerden etkilenmesine neden olmuştur. Benzer
bir biçimde de Rusya Federasyonu bütün bu komşularını etkilemeyi başarmıştır.
Bu karşılıklı etkileşim günümüzde her ne kadar güvenlik eksenli
olarak ön plana çıksa da yüzyıllardır bütün bu ülkelerle yanyana yaşamak
Rusya Federasyonu’nu idari yapılanma açısından da etkilemiştir.
