The need for efficient energy storage technology
has grown as a result of the world's population expanding. Supercapacitors,
unlike batteries, have the ability to provide significant amounts of power. Here,
we report on recent studies to develop an extremely effective supercapacitor
electrode. The Bi2CuO4 cathode material was produced in a
simple way within the parameters of this research. The large surface area of
the fabricated Bi2CuO4 nanostructures contributes to
their exceptionally high specific capacitance, which also varies with the
electrolyte. These findings indicate that easily produced Bi2CuO4
nanoparticles offer a potential option for supercapacitor electrodes.
