The naturalness and sustainability of wood materials are gaining increasing attention in aesthetically
focused architectural designs; however, this trend necessitates the need for comprehensive engineering
analysis to validate structural performance. Ansys Workbench software enables the simulation of load
bearing system behavior, deformation tendencies, and connection details with high accuracy by
considering the anisotropic mechanical properties of wood. This approach enables architects to strike a
data-driven balance between formal creativity and structural rationality, contributing to the development
of unique and environmentally sustainable building forms. The study examines how numerical analyses
conducted using Ansys Workbench enhance the feasibility of design decisions shaped by aesthetic
concerns and support architectural freedom of expression in various ways. The findings reveal that
engineering-based simulation tools play a strategic role not only in structural verification processes but
also in enabling innovative architectural production.
