Material science, which has an important place in industrial product design, is one of the basic, generic fields that provide input to all activities in the economy. Multifunctional material technology used in many industrial fields constitutes a large part of the product design process. With increasingly competitive environment, visuality and ergonomics as well as product functionality are among the factors driving the search for new materials. In this context, materials such as polymeric and composite materials,intelligent and functional materials have an important influence on the formation of the product form of the final product or semi-finished product process as well as the technical characteristics they possess. Material technology constitutes a large part of production as material support of industrial design. The progression of a modern industrial product not only enables the function and technique, but also the production of new materials. The rich variety of new materials and improved performance make progress in product innovations. At this way, with new materials produced, new production technologies can provide variations in creating a large number of desired forms in advanced product design. In this study, materials and production technology were investigated with changing products, form changing products and both production technology and product form as changeable products in order to investigate the effect of new materials and production technologies on product form.
