Today, the Information Society, whose importance is increasing day by day, is being transformed into a Super Smart Society. Super Smart Society is briefly called as Society 5.0. Society 5.0 is interpreted as a model of society in which the relationship of the people with technology is maximized. In fact, a strategy that can be developed while preparing a society to make the best use of technology is to meet the need of the qualified human resources. Thus, it is required to apply a correct human resources management (HRM) process in this new period we are facing. Considering the Society 5.0 from the perspective of HRM, it is seen that the changes in the labour market caused by the digitalization may lead to significant problems. In addition to the innovations caused by the Society 5.0, it shows that the organizations and individuals should have the qualities to use, apply and develop this technology. At this point, the purpose of this study is to explain the relationship between Society 5.0 and HRM. On the other hand, HRM should make progress simultaneously for the implementation of Society 5.0. With this study, it is aimed to raise awareness on this issue.
