Washing of textile materials during the manufacturing period is a common process which needs enormous water, hazardous chemicals and energy. It can be changed according to the used textile fiber type. But generally this process can be conducted several times during production. So it is essential to optimize this process for economic and green processing. In this study it was planned to show the effect of ultrasound during the washing of greige cotton fabrics. It was observed that with the addition of the ultrasonic energy better cleaning efficiency can be come out.
