Biyografi

Ahmet Aksoz is an Assoc Professor at Kayseri University (KAYU), where he leads research and teaching in electrical and electronics engineering. His research focuses on the modelling, analysis, design, and control of electrical machines and power electronic devices, with a particular emphasis on electricity grid generation, distribution, and transmission systems. Dr. Aksoz investigates advanced techniques for optimising power generation and transmission efficiency, with a specific interest in the integration of renewable energy sources and distributed generation systems into the grid. He is dedicated to developing innovative solutions that enhance the stability, reliability, and performance of electricity grids.

In the context of grid management, his work explores the operation of microgrids and smart grids, aiming to create more resilient, flexible, and efficient power systems. His research includes strategies for dynamic power distribution, load balancing, fault detection, and grid control using advanced algorithms and control systems. Dr. Aksoz also focuses on energy storage and optimisation within grid infrastructure, particularly regarding the integration of energy storage systems for load levelling and backup power.

Additionally, he is actively involved in research related to electric vehicles (EVs), including power electronics, charging infrastructure, and battery management, ensuring seamless integration of EVs into the electrical grid. His work further extends to the development of intelligent systems leveraging the Internet of Things (IoT), Machine-to-Machine (M2M) communication, and Machine Learning (ML) for real-time grid monitoring, predictive maintenance, and optimisation. Through his research, Dr. Aksoz seeks to advance the transition toward sustainable, smart, and efficient energy systems, addressing the challenges of modern electricity grids while contributing to the broader goal of sustainable energy management.
