Prof. ERTUĞRUL ŞAHMETLİOĞLU

Biography

Ertugrul Sahmetlioglu is a Professor at the Department of Basic Science, the Kayseri University, is conducting his research in the Nanotechnology Research Center of Erciyes University Kayseri/Turkey. He received his B.S. degree at Erciyes University, Kayseri/Turkey in 1997. He had his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees at Nigde University in 2000 and 2004, respectively. He was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Department of Chemistry at the Middle East Technical University, Ankara/Turkey, in 2005 for a year. and he did his post-doctorate studies as a visiting scholar in the Chemistry Department at the University of Florida between 2012-2013 for a year. He worked at the Chemistry department of Nigde University, Nigde/Turkey from 1998 to 2015. His research areas are electrochemical polymerization, conducting polymers, electrochromism, enzyme immobilization, oxidative polymerization, enzymatic oxidative polymerization, nanocomposites, biodegradable polymers, carbon nanotubes, graphene and supercapacitors.
